1. Who we are and what this site does

Solar Blinds Online ("we", "us", "our") operates solarblindsonline.co.uk. We are a UK retailer of made-to-measure solar-powered and solar-shading window blinds, offering supply-only and an optional measuring-and-fitting service. We are a home-interiors business and are not connected with solar-panel installation, energy generation or any energy scheme.

2. Acceptable use

You may use this site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not:

  • scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the site without our prior written consent;
  • submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form;
  • use the site to compete with us or to build a competing database;
  • interfere with the site's security, availability, or performance; or

We may suspend or block access if we reasonably suspect a breach.

3. Quotes and made-to-measure orders

Prices are confirmed by written quote, since every blind is made to measure. Because made-to-measure blinds are produced to the dimensions you supply, please check your measurements carefully — we cut and assemble each blind to those figures. If you would prefer us to measure, our fitting service is available in covered areas. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected, including where an item is faulty or not as described.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • we exclude all implied warranties and conditions except those that cannot be excluded under consumer law;
  • we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss;
  • nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

5. Intellectual property

All content, design, text, graphics, logos, and software on solarblindsonline.co.uk (excluding third-party marks used with permission) are owned by or licensed to Solar Blinds Online and protected by UK and international IP laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial reference. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

Brand names such as VELUX, Fakro, Alexa, Google Home and Apple HomeKit are the trade marks of their respective owners and are used on this site only to describe compatibility. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by those companies.
